What a clean and bright place to spend a couple of hours on a chore! Comfy sofa and chairs as well as very welcoming and helpful staff. Def recommend!

Clean, quick and easy to navigate the process - even for someone not used to a laundromat. The woman working was incredibly helpful and helped me right away to get setup with the right washer for what I needed. I was in Portsmouth on a work trip and this was actually way easier (and cheaper!) than having laundry done at my hotel. Would recommend!

Excellent, modern, and delightful laundry mat. This facility is clean and safe. The owners and staff greet each and every person walking through the door and go out of their way to explain how everything works. As a travel nurse and travel pipefitter we visited several times with laundry and are so impressed with the level of customer service and cleanliness here. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Portsmouth Laundry makes doing your laundry a pleasure. From the clean environment to the helpful and friendly employees the experience is all good. The machines are in pristine condition, the floors are clean, and the seating areas are comfortable and full of natural light. There are places to plug in your devices and a place for the kids to play. A nice perk is the option of having someone transfer your clothes from the washers to the dryers for a small fee. No more rushing in the grocery store to get back to load your clothes into the dryer. The new owner is friendly and more than helpful. All in all a very pleasant experience!

Clean, super-friendly staff, and everything you might expect at a laundromat, including folding tables, carts, a hand-washing basin, comfortable chairs, a coffee table covered in magazines, bathrooms, and laundry machines that accept cash or credit. The only thing that could make it better would be a barista serving up lattes. Also, the WiFi didn't work for me, but I didn't really need it, so I didn't ask the staff for help.

Machines are nice and easy to use with instructions on the front. There is detergent for sell if you happen to forget yours. You use a preloaded debit type card that is obtained by a kiosk in the front via cash or card. The two employees are very helpful and nice. Definitely coming back.

Easy parking, I was in and out with a single load of laundry in an hour & 15. Clean and comfy spot to do laundry with very kind & generous staff!$5 minimum to load one of their cards, no cash accepted. Basic wash was $3.75 and 10 mins of drying was 75 cents. Do the math & load the card the appropriate amount the first time so you don’t get stuck overpaying if you’re from out of town like me.Easy & comfy place to take care of this chore!

The cleanliness and bright, attractive interior immediately struck me as I entered Portsmouth Laundry. What struck me evenore was the friendliness and help offered by Mike and Erin, the proprietors. I went there to clean a down comforter and pillows in their largest washers, and Mike offered to let me try White Rite, and charged me nothing for using it in two loads! So hospitable! Also, their chairs are comfortable and stylish. Doing laundry was actually enjoyable!

The facility is super nice! Very clean, well-lit, plenty of machines of different sizes, and omg you don't have to go get a roll of quarters! Everything can be done with a card!! Annnnnd rates are entirely reasonable!The owners are kind & welcoming and so helpful!Lots of big tables for folding clothes as well as several very comfortable spots to hang out while you wait - sofa, couple armchairs, even a kids play area in the corner. Oh - and there's wifi!The staff - at the time I went, happened to be the owners - will even flip" your clothes (put them into the dryer when they're done washing) so that you can go explore instead of having to stay there *just* to do that part.No one loves having to do the laundry

I travel the country for work and obviously need to have my laundry done.This place is the very best of the best. From the super friendly owners and staff , to the big clean machines, they are truly awesome.I am also for the time being , disabled and they made sure they took my laundry from my truck, and put it back in for me when it was done.Believe me, this place is all that and a bag of chips as far as a great laundromat is concerned . You won’t be sorry if you go there .
